Shae Fawcett, MA, LPC, EMDR Level II

Shae has 20 years of clinical experience working with adults and teens. She believes that supportive collaboration in therapy allows individuals to heal themselves, and become fully present in their lives. Through her career, Shae has made it a priority to provide a safe environment for clients to develop self-compassion, explore complex thoughts and feelings, and help create a life worth living. In order to build wholehearted relationships and authentic experiences, Shae works with clients to understand their unique journeys and honor their personal expectations.

Shae has highly specialized training in Trauma and Anxiety disorders, as well as many other mental health conditions. Utilizing EMDR LEVEL II protocols for over 15 years, (plus additional therapy approaches) she is committed to aiding clients in their healing process. 

Her specialties include:

Trauma (sexual assault/abuse, physical assault/abuse, body trauma, accidents, injury, medical), Anxiety (social, performance, test), Relationship Issues, Fertility Challenges, Postpartum/Perinatal/Prenatal, Stress, Depression, Phobias, Grief and Loss, Body Image, Self-esteem, Phase of Life Transitions

Additionally, she has extensive experience working with active duty military, veterans, first responders and medical professionals. She is well versed in providing support to these populations and their families.

Shae is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Prior to opening her own practice, Shae worked at the Warrior Support Center and AspenPointe Counseling Center, providing individual and group counseling to survivors of complex traumas. She has also worked at the Eating Disorder Center of Denver and various university and college counseling centers throughout the US. Shae earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin, and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida. Shae is a member of the American Counseling Association.
